I have a Bespin Leia made in China variant which I recently had graded. Figure has what appears to be a Ledy Bespin Cape with perfectly rounded arm holes. It also has a very obvious unpainted foot error. After sending this figure off to AFA, it was returned as a standard made in China variant.
I'm a bit colored blind so it it extremely difficult for me to make out subtle differences in color tone. I have only been submitting figures to AFA for a few months and have a few related questions for any collector's with more experience in submitting graded figures.
1. Is this indeed a standard kenner figure?
2. Does AFA always explicitly list factory errors (I have noticed some figures on ebay that have errors stated within the figure description and others which have not)?
3. If there was indeed an oversight on the part of AFA either in listing this variant as kenner or in neglecting to state the unpainted foor error, in your opinion, would it be worthwhile to either contact AFA about this issue or to send the figure back in to be recased?
Thanks!
