Has anyone seen a version of the Luke ST blaster that shares all characteristics of a version 1C but it appears slightly grey? It's not blue or green at all. It isn't the grey V5 shape. But when held to the light it shows a grey translucency mainly around the barrel and a bit on the handle. I would say it's close to a 1B because of the dark grey/black, but there's no dent.
It always appears black in photos or I would post. But it's color is off from the solid black i've come across. I've seen this similar color in some rough textured jawa blasters.

The v1a and 1b exist in a dark grey / black. This can appear with and without the circle. Obviously it does have a thin or fat dent though, but I'm led to believe that because of wear in the mould it is possible that the dent can be accentuated or decentuated.

Since both the 1a and 1b exist in dark grey / black it is also possible that the 1c could exist in the same dark grey / black, although TIG have not documented one.

Until recently I had a v1 blaster that I could not 100% determine if it was a 1a, 1b or 1c. It could well fit your description. It was definitely grey and not solid black, or blue / black. Pictures attached.

In the end I decided it was a 1a fat dent but the dent was not very distinct, appearing like a 1c. Unfortunately it has been sold so I can not reassess it. See what you think.

I can not find a picture at the moment. But I have a dark grey that shows up clearly when a picture is taken with other black weapons.

Yeah that's what it looked like. It's clearly seen when compared to the solid black blaster that it's grey. When I tried taking pictures of it alone it looks exactly like the solid black too. Can be very deceiving if they were auction photos. Because it isn't documented that a 1c comes in dark grey, I returned it. They're fetching too high prices right now to take a chance that it's not original to the luke figure. Thanks for the responses and I hope others find it helpful that you can't just look at the pictures and determine shape/color with these.
