Hello everyone!
(Brief History)
When I was young I received a set of Star War's Blueprints in a vinyl case for Christmas (clear front and black back cover) with a flap that folded over and snapped shut. The exposed cover was blue with "white" outlined print to the best of my memory. This particular "set" accompanied "The Empire Strikes Back".
(The Problem)
Almost 2 years ago my wife gave me a die cast millennium falcon for Christmas which triggered a journey to replace the 10 or so Star Wars items I had as a child. Happily, this has morphed into, "well lets just get everything I didn't have as well". One problem remains. I have not seen the item mentioned above anywhere to date. This being one of the few items I had as a kid it has become my "unicorn" as they say. LOL, the only item I still had in my possession when this all began was the die cast tie bomber - how lucky right!
Anyway, as I have searched ebay and what not I have run across many of the blueprint sets. However, they all are from the "Return of the Jedi" release with the red cover.
My questions are:
1) Please preserve my sanity and say they existed with the blue cover and were part of the Empire run.
2) Have any of you every seen a set for sell on ebay or similar service?
3) Do any of you know of a set they may have been released with the original "Star Wars"?
Thanks in advance!
Note:
The set I had was not the "droid maker" blueprints which do appear to be blue with white print.
