I don't think this is a factory coo, so likely a job done by an owner at some point. The leg even looks less shiny in the coo area where it looks like sandpaper may have been used to scratch it off.
Curiously there may be some paint touch up also. The hair is very close to the brows and appears lighter than I believe it should be, as well as the white on the buckle. Wonder if this figure has had some paint work done also? |

| Thanks for your thoughts on this. If there was some touch up done I can’t tell by looking at the figure other than it looks really nice. Is it a common practice for collectors or scammers to basically destroy a nice figure by removing the coo? Why do think the right leg is scarred when there was nothing on that leg to remove? On top of all this I paid $40. for six figures so there wasn’t a financial incentive. Just want to make sure I don’t have something unique before I hand it off to my 5 year old son.
Thanks |

| Compare this solo to another in your collection. I am betting he is slightly smaller overall. I think the reason the colors look off to me is this is from the 1996 collectors pack. The legs on that figure actually had wording on both.

I believe this is what this figure originally looked like with the wording intact and that the lettering was removed by a previous owner for an unknown reason. If this is the 96 figure they were actually slightly smaller than original figures because the molds werent reused and instead they used vintage figures to make new molds. |

| Good call. I will have to dig out a vintage Han for comparison and I’ll let you know.
Thanks |

| I too wondered if it's the 90s re-issue. For a 'small-head Han' his head, in this case, seems too big in proportion to his stubby body. |

| You were dead on! It is the smaller 90’s version.
Thanks! |
