Hi everyone, i realised that there are two versions of hansolo blank lapels trenchcoat. Figure 1. is pink faced, triangle shaped blank lapel trenchcoat, figure 2. is flesh faced, rectangular shaped blank lapel trenchcoat, and fig 3. is flesh faced, dilated eyes, trenchcoat with rectangular camo lapels. Most discussions I read talks about the print on the lapels(camo or blank), but never talk about the shape of the lapels.

Check on the inside for material differences, it could also just be the seamstress having a bad day.

Inside material both the same( velvet kinda). Most of the blank lapels version on the web feature the triangle shaped version.

So even the imperial gunnery website featuress the triangular blank lapels version but the rectangle camo lapels version. So does this mean that most of the time, the blank lapels version came in traingle shape rather than the rectangle shape?.

Everyone of them I look at on eBay is just a littitle different some have squared of ends still tapering, some have triangle ends where the taper goes all the way down, some have larger sections for the collar and some smaller. Wonder if it just came down to how the worker sewed it? Possibly not so much a variant as a slight difference due to factory. Similar to how ledy figures can differ slightly but we don't consider them a variant. For me, to be a variant it has to be an intentional factory thing, for example green limbs Chewbacca is not a variant. Cool looking and I have one but I don't classify it as a variant.

The interesting thing is that I noticed that the camo lapels version are always rectangular and not triangular. It may not be a full reactangle, but definitely more rectangle than triangle. However the blank lapels version is more often triangle than rectangle.
