Steve: Keep us updated on the younglings.
Do you want us to think about new names? I have to admit that I don't name my snakes, but it would be interesting to see what suggestions people have. |

- Steve, may I suggest a couple of names... Cransten & Clyde, after Slash's snakes
Well... Kudos for knowing the names of two of Slash's snakes Alex. They are the current front runners! Just 3 names needed. I just checked the eggs & managed to get a shot of what James (ourchickenshack) wanted to see, one hatching. (sorry it's a bit fuzzy) " /> |

| It's been quite some time since this thread has been bumped Maybe some of you new guys have some pets to share We have some baby swordtails in the house ... so far I have managed to catch 8 out of my main aquarium and put them in this little breeder net . They are so tiny - I would say about 1/4" to 3/8" Mommy ... Dad... |

| Congrats on the new arrivals James. It's a good job that you separated out the fry as (I'm sure you know) livebearers are prone to cannibalism. I see you have some Java fern in the tank, if you can get it, Java moss is brilliant for livebearers as the fry can hide amongst it and avoid predation. |

| I didn't know there was a TIG pets thread. Some cracking pics and pets. You could call another snake "Solid". Here's Spike my Springer. https://s1373.photobucket.com/user/familytreeman/media/SpikeSprint_zps5b835686.mp4.html |

| Spike is a great looking Springer Andrew. If I let my daughter have a dog when she's older, that is one of the breeds I would consider getting. |

| It's with great sadness I've had to put my German Shephard to sleep. I put a photo of him on one of the fb groups guarding my loose shuttle last month. He's on a few pages earlier in this thread. He swallowed a balloon which concerned us. We took him to the vets who x-rayed him and noticed a diseased heart - the worst she'd seen. Likely a genetic defect. He was a heart attack waiting to happen. He was only 3. Very fortunate really as the signs were building internally and by the time we noticed he would have been in a lot of pain. |

| Very sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved Dog Richard, its always hard losing a much loved pet, especially one so young. Dogs and cats are family members too, so it can always be painful and difficult when they pass |

| Adorable puppy AJ. What breed is she? Not quite as cute and cuddly as Lulu, but here's the latest addition to my menagerie. Female Chilean Rose tarantula / bird eating spider. |

With the types of spider you get over there I don't blame her! - aussiejames wrote:
