Would like to get the opinion of all the experts here.

What do you think would be the current price for a first shot:

a) Han original
b) Han Hoth
c) Han Bespin
d) Han Endor

Thanks in advance.

Best guys to ask would be Steve (The Dark Artist) or Oli (Olisuds) as they collect prototypes pretty much exclusively.  With todays market prices some of these may be out of the 4 digit and into the 5 digit amounts, but I really don't know.

I think Oli recently had an endor for sale so I will look a bit and see if I can find it.

Edit: it wasn't for sale, just trade.

Steve also recently traded or sold his han orginal. So may have some insight to that price wise.

I would be happy to help. PM me here if you'd like my opinion on prices.

Thanks to Steve who had patiently answered my questions / shared his thoughts on this topic.

I think the chances of me getting an original Han is next to Nil. Lower odds of Luke surviving a night on Hoth or Han navigating through an asteroid field.

Steve and Oli are my go to guys for prototype questions usually. They both have very current knowledge of prototypes as that is what they collect and have been collecting. Other knowledgeable guys also exist, but I don't see a lot of them around these days.

Well, after seeing the first shot posted yesterday. Anything is possible. One thing is for sure, there are other prototypes out there. But even if you actively look for them, the chances of finding one are extremely slim. The situation where that Luke was found recently. It's called luck. Sort of like winning the Lottery : ) I know guys who are actively looking for these on a daily basis and they aren't finding them.

And I didn't mean to sound discouraging. I just want to be realistic and honest. I would put a time plan in place. Actively send out Want To Buy threads everywhere. Here, Rebelscum, Facebook ect.... and have money in place, and ready. If one popped up, you have to be prepared immediately.
If you want to find one on your own. That will be difficult, but not impossible. Your best luck would be in Cincinnati, Ohio. Go to every auction, sale, flea market you can.
The time thing is huge. It could take years and years to find one. Money is huge too, unless you are lucky enough to find one on your own. Then, knowing what to look for plays a huge part. Making sure it is actually a prototype, with no coo and date, rather then a short shot/production error, that I see many "so called" experts post online, thinking they have something special.... when in reality it is not.
Hope this helps.... and good luck.
