I have several Farmboy Lukes. Most have paint that has the usual glossy Kenner look on the legs. Two figures have a more "matte" look to the paint on their legs. Have these been repainted to touch up scuff marks? Or is it just age deterioration, factory variation, etc.?

Do you see brush strokes or two colors or anything to indicate repaint? Sometimes a black light helps if there are two colors as one may glow, but black lights are not definitive they are only a helpful clue.

I don't see brush strokes. I am just used to Kenner figures having that shiny plastic look and these legs seem a bit different. Maybe just age.

I got myself a pair of these for next to nothing so I could inspect the figures paint jobs in great detail. It's certainly saved me from some very good repro last 17 weapons too:
