A few pictures from last Saturday's visit to I.W.M Duxford "Meet the fighters" air show:
It absolutely bucketed it down with rain and many flying displays were cancelled... just my luck (Sunday was perfect weather wise).. but that's the trouble with booking tickets months in advance I guess.

Purchased at the Duxford airshow, back in September, but only just gotten around to building it this weekend.

Cool. How long did that take? Do the rotor blades turn or are they fixed? I remember building Matchbox and Airfix planes as a kid and later tanks. The last ones I remember came with bombed building scenes like a desert outpost, and a battlefield section with craters and tank traps. The scenes were mostly moulded but with some parts you had to attach by clipping together. Looking back these were really cool things to place your completed vehicles in.
