I'm not sure what you want to spend, and I'm NOT encouraging opening carded figures But if you're after minty figures a MIM Biker scout can be bought for around $50-$60. I think ACME has one.

Opening a carded vintage figure that has nothing wrong with the package? NEVER! At least, not here. Although I did open a few in the early 90's that I wish I hadn't.

I am aware that the price will be a little high. I don't care about COO or any of that stuff, just that it looks good.

a small mouth is like the kenner nikerscout , but much , much more thinner

I found a carded one at RS, but the guy hasn't replied to my PM's yet. It is a Kenner version which is fine with me. The card is a tad rough around the edges, but it is displayable if I want to keep it sealed. It appears that the blaster is loose in the bubble though, so that helps me justify opening it if he gets off his ass.

Well, the guy finally replied.

He says he doesn't have any Small Mouth Scouts in his post.

Jesus Harold Christ on a Stick. WTF is wrong with people?

He replied and said "Oh snap."

Then he proceeded to tell me that he is taking the pic down and the figure is not for sale.

***SIGH***

"Roush", eh? Sure man, you can call me anything ya want...................except late for supper!!

Oh...and never, EVER call me late to the party...I HATE trying to slurp from an EMPTY scotch bottle!!

..............Meant to mention this before while I was (unintentionally) hijacking your thread with attempts at bawdy humour...

Show me a picture of this "small mouth" please, side by side with the 'standard' Scout. Is he rare, or? I have a few Scouts, and the comic shop near me must have a dozen, I'd be glad to help ya out.

Do a search on eBay for "small mouth biker scout" and a few will pop up. They're all in bad shape, but they are there.

Ahhh I see. Looks like about half the size of the regular one. You said they were all in "bad shape"..? Yikes man, thats why I could NEVER be a figure grader, they look to be in fine shape to me.

I'll check through mine as well as the comic shops around here. We have a couple/few, and they all sell loose vintage stuff by the ton, so...

What kind of shape are you wanting one in, untouched, or?

Just let me know, I'd be glad to swap one if I found one.

Did you look at the enlarged pics of the eBay figures? They are absolutely TERRIBLE! Paint is missing all over the place on them. But anyway, what I am after is a decent paintjob and original weapon.
