I have always loved seeing Vintage Custom Figures and there have been some awesome ones produced over the years! It must takes real artist skill to pull them off. If you have made any Vintage Customs, of have pictures of Vintage Customs or want to discuses / share techniques then feel free to post here! I may even try some myself in the next few weeks with some of the beater figures i own To kick things off i have had these picture saved on my PC for a while Vintage Custom - Cantina Spaceman (Source Unknown) Vintage Custom - Tie Fighter Pilot Removable Helmet (Source Lee Bullock RS) Vintage Custom - Biggs (Source Unknown) Vintage Custom - Rebel Blockade Trooper (By richalot on RS) Made using a Han Endor body and Death Squad Commander head. Vintage Custom - Rebel Captain Antillies (By richalot on RS) Made using a Han Bespin body and Death Squad Commander body. Another worthy addition to the Vintage Customs Thread! These were made by an RS user a number of years ago now. The idea was to show what might have happened if Mego were given the License instead of Kenner. For those who know about Mego they produced a number of Lines in the 70 / 80's including Star Trek. Vintage Starwars 8 Inch Mego Figures (Custom)

I have not done many customs but when they talk about enamel paint not drying & it staying tacky it is true Permanent marker works OK but the black always seems to have a purple tinge to it. Aim for customs that do not need painting!! I've used an acrylic spray primer that works well & as with all painting make sure it is clean before painting

Hi lads, wish i had the talent but alas no, a guy who lived nearby made the figures and i purchased the POTF pack from eBay a few years ago.. It came from the States and i think the guy who made it also made a Hoth pack as well but i have never been able to find one..

Nice thread indeed Jay! Custom vintage figures are very cool imo! Below a shot of the best scene from the worst SW movie ever. In case you like to see the whole movie: Holiday Special 30:00: WTF!! WARNING: Not for the faint of heart! Thumbs up for the guy who can watch the complete scene till 37:30 56:00: Oh well, this is quite interesting, an animated break with… Boba Fett!!! Cheers, Marco Celebrating Wookiee Life Day at the Death Star:
