Hi , I hope you can help. I started collecting vintage figures about 25 years ago and then stopped for several years but now got back into it again. I have now decided to catalogue my collection.
I bought a huge collection 25 years ago, at this time variants were not really looked for like they are today. I've since realised I have a Tri-logo Boba fett that had really cheered me up, and the fake rocket firing is not as much of a fake as I first thought. These were sort of dismissed until very recently.
Another figure I dismissed ( I can already hear everyone saying, and so should you dismiss it!) was an Imperial gunner with an AT-ST head on it. Only now am I questioning it because it's in almost mint condition and I don't really know how someone could do this without damaging the figure.
I'm after any help with either laughing at me for asking this absurd question, maybe explaining how somebody could do this without damaging the figure, or by shedding any light on strange figures in this wonderful weird world of vintage collecting.
Whatever the answer it's going to stay in my collection because I quite like it.
Thank you in advance, Alan
