Dear Imperial Gunnery Members,

You may have already seen this post on RebelScum.

I know many of you do not reside in Illinois, or the United States, but maybe you can still help me out for a good cause.

Over the past 5 years I have put together the Crosstown Classic Bar Crawl for the Cubs vs Sox baseball series.

On June 25th, 2011 I am having my 6th Anniversary Crosstown Classic Bar Crawl. Each year has been an amazing success. Last year alone we had close to 800 people in total come out for the event! We are coming up with new ideas and making plans to make it bigger and better than ever!!!

Last year we raised $7,855 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation Illinois Chapter. This helped make 2 wishes come true.

One of the wishes that was granted was for a 17 year old boy from Naperville, who was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma got to spend the day with his favorite baseball team, The Cincinnati Reds and also got to spend a day at the University of Cincinnati.

This year our goal is to raise at least $10,000. One of the ways we raise money is by holding a raffle. Many of the items in the raffle are autographed Chicago sports memorabilia. This year I would like to expand and diversify our raffle prizes.

Can't make it to the charity event?
Maybe you are going, but you don't want to carry hundreds of dollars in cash on you at the bars!

This is your chance to purchase raffle tickets for this years charity event! Remeber 100% of the proceeds from the raffle go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation Illinois Chapter. Because this is a 501(c)3 charity event, the money that you spend on raffle tickets is considered a charitable donation! So don't be shy to spend big bucks, it's for a great cause!

We are going to have two separate raffles this year. A Premium Raffle and a General Raffle.

Premium Raffle
The Premium Raffle will consist of about 5 of our most valuable raffle items. By the time of the charity event, each of these items may be worth anywhere from $600.00 - $1,000.00 or more! Premium raffle tickets can be purchased towards winning specific premium raffle items. We are going to start selling raffle tickets for the following premium items:

General Raffle
The general raffle will consist of all other items not included in the premium raffle. General raffle items may include sports memorabilia, entertainment tickets, various gift cards, and electronics. We will have Blue tickets for Cubs fans, so only Cubs fans win Cubs items. And Grey tickets for Sox fans, so only Sox fans win Sox items. The general raffle will also have randomly marked INSTANT WIN TICKETS like last year!!! Where just by buying a raffle ticket, you can win a prize!

The raffle tickets will be on sale until June 20th. After June 20th, all raffle tickets will have to be purchased at the charity event.
