Bryan,

This is the exclusive version that came with "Headpool." I believe it was $230 total shipped. The way Sideshow's flex payments work is that you pay a certain amount of money (designated by them) a few months before the release of the statue.

i.e. This got pushed back to this month (November), so I paid once a month from July to now until payment was received in full.

And I absolutely love it. It's one of the best statues that they've produced in a few years in my opinion. The cloth is real cloth, pouches are leather, the detail and color is amazing.

Very cool. That is a decent price. I picked up a judge dredd mezco 1:12 figure recently and they are similar with real cloth and zippers and whatnot. I need to break it out and take pictures, but haven't had time yet.

That Deadpool looks great!!
Got quite into the Sideshow/ Hot Toys for a while but have sold most of them on, was great but I found the quality of them was hit and miss.
My sideshow Boba Fett was missing so many parts it was silly, when I contacted them, they said that they have no spare parts, so I could video myself destroying the figure for a full refund or get a part refund. I went with the part refund and have managed to find almost all the parts on eBay, just his gun holster that's eluding me at the moment.

To clarify you bought him new and he was missing parts? That's crazy.

Yep he was new, there was no way I was going to destroy him, he's still a great figure.

That's terrible, man. I have about 30 statues, busts and 1:1's of sideshow, hot toys, bowen and more.. but none of them have ever had any missing parts.

I can see how a figure from hot toys could be missing parts since they come with so many. But still.. no excuse.

I hope you find that holster for completion though. Fingers crossed!

Good investment if you can get your hands on these! Almost guaranteed to double your money with the movie release next year!

Anything and everything Deadpool is way above market. It's been that way for awhile now.. especially his first published appearance!

I noticed deadpool stuff is gaining fame. I have two copies of his first appearance from new mutants 98. One I bought many years ago and another I found on craigslist for cheap about two years back.

That's awesome. I had two copies and sold one of them to the local comic store. It was part of a trade toward getting an ASM #129.

That's funny cause I had two copies of that also. Sold one to buy the giant size X men 1. I only collect key issues so I have a ton from my major collecting days. Most are in very good to fine condition. My avengers 1 though is in poor condition as it was all I could afford at the time. My hulk 181 is in near mint if it weren't for the stamp being cut out. I read it might get a qualified grade as the stamp was carefully cut out with no tearing anywhere and I got another stamp from a different hulk 181 that I considered sending off to see if they could repair it in place, but worried they would mess it up and figured a restoration would be looked down on. My avengers 4 is the golden record reprint series though not an original. At my largest comic book days I had over 40 long boxes, now I have close to 7 mostly filled with graphic novels and I have a ceded chest that I keep the key issues in. In 2010-2011 as I can't remember the exact year, I thought it would be a good idea to buy a comic book store. I drove to a store in Louisiana that was closing down and had listed the business on eBay. I purchased the entire inventory of 50 long boxes of back issues and loaded it into a uhaul and brought it to Texas. I sold off everything that was cheap back issues to guys in long box lots through craigslist. I don't have much of that shop inventory left and only kept a few keys to upgrade what I had already. It ended up not being as profitable as I had hoped since at the time I was selling out of my house. I was still a full time police officer at that time though, so it may have done better if I had been able to devote more time to it. Now I own a store front selling whatever I want as it is a general resale. Haven't really had much good collectables wise come in though other than some Marx marvel statues and a few odds and ends stuff.

That's awesome how you went out to start your own comic book store though. It's a tough market with a lot of competition..but that's what mom and pop shops run into.

My GSXM1 is framed on the wall. It was the first major key issue I bought (aside from starting my collecting with IM #1).

I want my next big issue to be a graded #181. 4.0-5.0 as long as the cover looks nice.

I was considering trading my ASM #129 toward one, but with Daredevil S2 coming out.. I'd rather hold onto it before it becomes impossible to grab at those inflated prices.
