Any idea how I should place these in my collection? Are they Lili Leddy, PBP, Meccano, ????????

Luke and Hoth Rebel have a blank bar COO. R2 has no COO and is 1977. Stormtrooper has no COO and a "smile" line between the black squares on his helmet backside.

The Rebel has molded boots if that helps.

The Luke is a China Baggie, the rebel soldier is just the raised blank bar. Meccano is smooth no coo for him. The r2, if the copyright is at the noon or six position depending on which way ou have him turned he is a meccano, but if it is at the side on either side then he is just a no coo figure. The stormtrooper could be ledy or pbp depending on the body and markings. I am not very good on those so someone way better than me needs to check that. There may also be Kenner no coo stormtroopers, it has been a while since I have looked at the coo guide.

Google search coo guide 3.0 and it should show wolff's guide as I don't have th link handy. You should be able to match up the coo for these figures as they are Star Wars and empire. He hasn't finished Jedi or potf yet as far as I know.

Thanks. I looked up the COO guide. I am guessing if it doesn't say PBP or LL on the picture, then "Kenner" would be its classification/maker regardless of the COO style?

Were the blank bar figures released in the U.S. or were they overseas figures?

What about a figure like R2 or the Stormtrooper with no COO? The guide shows my Stormtrooper is not a LL but it is a "IV 2a". Was this from a trilogo card? My R2 is just a no COO one. The stamp is just off to the side around 3 o'clock.

The coo marking is just related to certain factory things. It doesn't necessarily even always mean that is where the figures were made as some factories used molds that were pre existing and did not change out or fill the coo marking. I think most of the figures are marked on the guide, but I really don't remember.

Baggie figure that says made in China on the bag. Here is a thread I found quickly using a Google search, but there is a better Baggie guide on swfuk that frank put together or is putting together.

How did people order these during the 1980's?

Frank would likely know much better than myself, but the majority of baggies came in multipacks. I don't have a Baggie guide in front of me, but major stores like Sears, jc penny, etc....had a catalog of items for order. The Star Wars figures could be ordered in Baggie sets. The single mailers like ackbar, fett, emporer, bossk, 4lom, nine nunb were figure offers made on Kenner cardbacks, the multipacks were catalog only I believe. I have never heard of a store just having them in stock, but I could be wrong. Baggie sets came with multiple counts of figures. Anywhere from 3 to 10 I think was the biggest, but could be wrong.

Here is the swca Baggie guide.  http://theswca.com/images-speci/baggiefeature/baggiefeature.html

I believe the one frank was doing or is doing is more complete and includes foreign baggie offers like palitoy baggies, etc.

Also the swca article says that multipacks were sold with anywhere from 2 to 16 figures so I was incorrect in my previous post.
