| Doesn't make the "zip" sound, although I know no test is fullproof.
I think the pattern matches one of the vintage versions from TIG, but I want a second opinion (or third, fourth, fifth).
Thanks boys!

| What coo is the figure? Looks like family VI im guessing, what is the other side of the cape like? Textured? Euro released capes usually don't zip, such as clipper PBP the side of the cape shown in your pic suggests it could be the textured type on the other side. also look for an error cut in the side of the cape about an inch up from the bottom, will look like a step in the cut. |

| Thanks for the response. Looks like VI. The other side of the cape seems pretty smooth to me. Didn't see an error in the cut. |

| Not the textured type, but even better is the smooth like yours, they are less in numbers this looks and feels quite thick, stiffer ? Types of capes on family VI 1- Textured with a slight shine on texture, this is the most common 2- Textured with a matt look on texture 3- Smooth with a slight shine either side
Then there is type 4 which is not confirmed yet, I have this on family VI 2 and also on family III 2
4- Smooth with a matt look both sides, quite thicker and stiffer, usually when folded it will leave stress lines on the fold
I cant see anything wrong with your cape, to me it looks good, and it might be my eyes playing tricks but the error cut seems to be there on yours. looks like type 4 cape
All of the capes may or may not have the error cuts, although 90% of them do
