Steve, surely those bids are someone just running it up as a joke. That cape isn't even close to either the regular kenner or toltoys.

Nicely spotted Steve. That's one of the worse repro capes I've seen passed off as an original. Bidding is up to £360 as I type, they've got to be all fake bids right? Though these days I wouldn't actually be that surprised if they weren't  I reported the auction to eBay anyway

Here's a reply that I received when I tried to correct him: "Hi, thanks, the blaster is a repro weapon, but the cape is 100% original, from Australia (error in me saying Canada) ... fits all other description other than the unusual colour ...

I would guess so, as bidder identities are private. Perhaps the seller is hoping a newbie will be sucked in. After all, the fake bids can be retracted giving a genuine high bidder a second chance offer.

@Steve, I suggested he/she checked out IG to see what a real cape looks like. Then got pretty much the same message as you after asking why he/she was of the opinion it was original...
