As a variant collector I have just finished my loose collection of glasslite figures .luke has no sabre and han has no black blaster .I have collected many loose variants over the years inc Dt luke brown hair light brown orange etc. Ledy figures PBP Last 17 Blue snag etc I have about 160 loose variants and love finding more but as everyone knows it aint cheap anymore but the fun never goes away. I once bid on an auction 11 years ago in the states a guy had some non starwars toys and at the bottom of his pile was a white baggie with a staple in unopened with a white cape bib fortuna and no peg holes I knew this was a prototype even then .I was so excited when I won the auction for not many pennies.needless to say he never turned up. oh well I guess everone has a story well that's mine.....

I still have many incomplete runs- Ledy, Glasslite etc. I'm hearing you about costs!!!! I do not have many regrets & like you still find the fun- but I wish I'd picked up the Takara trio when I could have

I hear you on the Glasslite front (and with many other variants), I try to keep my eye on the market value and some of them have been hitting record breaking prices lately.

I wish I'd upgraded my VC Jawa whilst they were £200, I've seen them going for £600-£700 now

Tell me about prices!  I may have just finished a Glasslite run myself (pending a couple of authentications), at no small cost.  I don't even want to think what it is going to take to complete a loose Top Toys Yoda! (last holdout on Top Toys run)  I'm not sure I can even conceive of a full PBP run anymore, unless I sell a kidney or two.  Or five.  Glad I got ahold of what I managed before prices got too nutty I guess!  Welcome to TIG!

for me its the ledy's that ill never finish , 1500 for a rocket fett , no thanks . 500 for a removable hood jawa -nah , I need a glasslite cape and gun for my leia and a sabre for my luke and im done with that . ive been spending every extra cent on pbp and poch , but hey that's what collecting is all about . I remember 20 years ago when I completed my kenner run I used to think wow I have everything ....... then I got a lead on a vc jawa for decent and started with the foreign variants and its all over again
