Here is a sample of sysvintage aka solance4ever recent scams:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201325346678
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400915646138

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141629899204
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400915552440

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201325348437
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181737997324

The descriptions in his listings make it sound like he is doing the world a service.  When, in actual fact, he is just another greedy scammer.

His figures don't always come with the correct original accessories and some of his listings are misleading or just plain lies.

Hi Greg, I moved this thread to here.
Are all those links correct - I'm only seeing one of those sellers you mentioned along with two additional sellers who seem unrelated to your post?
Cheers,

Greg, this seller already has watch outs from the past his old user id was the game-sw and his real name is Sergio.  He has had issues before, and has threads around under that name.

Paul, from what I see in the links it looks like Greg is showing that the items Sergio has listed were bought by listings end early. The top links are the original listing with the next link being the new listing for sale.

Thanks Paul. Bryan is right.

Bryan, that name comes up in his eBay ID history.

With my mod hat on I'll say 'scammer' is a strong word and may not be the most appropriate. At the end of the day if you are involved with ending live auctions early expect a backlash. If selling descriptions are misleading or inaccurate also expect much of the same.

It is a tad bit odd how his auctions always end way above others of the same item, and that bidder identities are hidden so you can't tell if a shill is occurring. He does always have really nice stuff though, but again it ends way above other auctions for the same item. An example is his Luke orange hair bespin. If it still shows up I seem to remember the one he sold was well above other market examples it was up against during same bidding time.

This is disgusting. It is the envy of a seller for other one. Why do you allow this?

Can anybody tell me why this is a scam?ALL COLLECTORS buy and sell items and them sell the rest or all of them.
Greg , you are doing exactly the same in your classified FS threads as i did before for example.Honesty this watch out was unnecessary and un fair.
Sergio is a collector and a dealer.he have to buy items for reselling them , in some earn money in some loss money.TBH i would never expected this kind of post coming form you Greg.Is this something personal against Sergio or??
i would ask to the moderator team on here, please to remove this thread, just because its false and only the appreciation of one person.
Thanks in advance
Javier

The issue is reselling items that were bought by getting active auctions to end early. This topic has been discussed time & time again.

I will quote a neutral third party "What is important to me to know is, that he has no intentions of scamming anyone. AJ, I know your view on pvt ebay auctions, and I also know that you hate ebay auctions ending early due to "second hand" offers etc. The last part I agree with you 100 % about, all though I have to admit, that I have also as a buyer got the seller to end auctions early in the past. I'm not proud of that by any means, but it has given me the opportunity to add some items to my collection, that I would otherwise have had no chance of getting."

So this thread is not about a scammer ? or?? so this thread should be closed as this would affect to a person on his dealings.
Greg, if you think "second hand" offers are not fair for other just keep for your self or discus it in other terms.I did it myself some times right after i lost LOADS of actions by that method used by members on the forums in example. You are very free to do or not to do it too if you think , and allways the final decision is on the side of the person who is selling the item.

For what i can understand what Greg is saying is that Sergio is selling figures with wrong descriptions and incorrect or fake weapons, which can be discussed, of course, but no in this world or in any other world that is a scam.

Greg ,i can't see you opening watch out threads on every wrong description on eBay seller´s, which can be count on hundreds... can you please tell us why you really attack Sergio with such a poor excuse ??

Again moderators on this forum , could you please lock this thread up or move to other one about wrong descriptions??
Thanks

Can anyone explain me why is Sergio a scammer? Because his auctions end high above others? So is the quality of his products and the accuracy of his descriptions. He doesn't sell any figure: he goes for the top ones. And if trying to get sellers to end his auctions early is scamming... well, sirs, are we really thar hypocrate?
Please, let us be honest and call things for their real name. Putting a Watchout to a fellow TIGer just because he succeeds at eBay auctions? Is there an official fixed TIG amount or benefit whic if surpasse brings punishment upon the "unfortunate" seller?
Come on...

I would like to know what this thread is actually about? I really have no idea why it is here.

The issue of auctions ending early is a 'dead in the water' issue for a start. I have been bitten by this so many times, but it's never going to stop and more importantly it is the seller who would be at fault in this issue.
I have a rule when I sell on ebay. It is simple, if no one has bid on my item then it is still mine and I can do with it what I want. If some one throws me a nice offer, I might just accept.
Now if someone bids on it, the second that happens, as far as I am concerned, the item no longer belongs to me and the auction will run it's course.
This is just my ethics and my rule, others don't share that, like Stef said to me a long time ago.... Money Talks and this is true. But at this point, if someone has a problem, it is with the actual seller, not anyone who made an offer.

I would also like to say that Sergio is one of the good guys in this hobby and a friend, someone who is always more than willing to help and offer advice, and someone who has a reputation for selling quality vintage Star Wars, a credit to the hobby.

It's saddening to see this thread here for no apparent reason???

I have to agree with you alex, I have dealt with sergio in the past. I have even made him a generous offer to end a listing early and he declined as he felt it would be disrespectful to the other people watching (no bids had been made at that time). The reason his listings go for such high prices is partly down to the quality and rarity of his figures, but also because he has built up a good reputation as a seller, especially with U.S and canadian buyers. In fact with his latest listings he has deliberately not hidden the bidders identities as private, to help dispel that there is shill bidding going on.

I hope that this unfortunate thread does not discourage people from dealing with sergio, because he's a great guy Very Happy

Thank you very much to all.  I have bought many figures to this "guy" for my personal collection. I am stupid. I was thinking that as sellers we will respect each other. Unlike him, I am a collector and a seller. I have never seen a watch out thread from a person who have never buy a single figure from the seller, I must be the first one.
Here and in other forums they are already talking about the guy  Greg Smith, Flycasual and why the hell he opened a watch out thread with out a solid reason. I am awaiting  for your sincere excuses and to cleaning up all this  sh*t.

never going to stop because people forget what is right & wrong? It' easy to blame just the seller, is it just the sellers' fault if they accept a higher offer after an auction ends? It's the same thing once a bid is made. At the end of the day I appreciate those with a keen eye that spot & mention underhanded activity ( & I don't mean just Greg )

Wow, this certainly turned into a train wreck.  Seems all of the Spanish guys and even Wolff came out in support of Sergio on this.  I must say I agree with AJ that scammer may be a bit harsh and can't really speak to weather or not the weapons are pbp or poch or whatever as I quit studying up on those lines somewhere back when Sergio came in here and stirred the pot up calling out a lot of the top variant guys around.  One who I just named in the second sentence.  Guess all that is a thing of the past though.

http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t5147-response-to-sergio-thegame-sw-in-the-poch-pbp-discussion-thread

My only concern was his listings all had hidden bidder identities.  Checked them today and they are no longer hidden.  I do think it is wrong to try to get people to end auctions early or to offer them way under market value, but that is just me.  Apparently though I wasn't the only one who noticed the hidden bidders thing though as this thread shows: http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1120000/

Now I am sure everyone will come back and slam me for speaking my mind.  Well sorry for that.  I don't think Sergio is doing anything super unscrupulous at this time, but he did get someone to end auctions early right?  I know when I have bids on things that suddenly get ended and the seller says "I sold it" when I ask why, it sure makes me upset.  When I first joined up here I was very much against doing this very thing, but it seems it is an acceptable practice?  Maybe I can also contact people on the day the auction ends and offer them a little extra to tell the actual winner the item was lost and to send it to me?  This is of course a rhetorical question, I hope no one is actually doing that.  My point being where does it stop being okay and become something that deserves to be called out. Maybe not labeled a scammer, but at least called out for the action that was committed.
