G'day guys, I picked this up a few years ago and had it packed away as I had no idea what it was.

Anyway I re-discovered it today and no one has been able to tell me what it is.

It's a metal version of the vintage Han Solo blaster, quite detailed and almost identical to original, but solid metal with a bit of weight to it. I assume it must be a repro, but the guy I purchased it from swears it come from a childhood vintage collection.

Has anyone seen these before? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Yes I am quite well aware it's not 'authentic', but does anyone have any more info about these?

Who made them? When were they made? Where were they made? How were they made? Were they made as repros or released with KO figures?

I've now seen some pics of others in existence, but still no one seems to know anything about them...

I assume that this isn't a model trem?

We were discussing on Facebook and it appears most likely to be a backyard job, possibly using lead with do-it-yourself mould kits.

Pewter I think is easier to work with for detail.
