| Welcome to TIG. That Tie looks great. Always good to hear of a beater being rescued. I know that my own childhood figures had no tips on the lightsabers but that was due to being played with. Strangely enough my dad was round not long ago and he was looking at my collection and he said " I always throught that the thin end on the lightsaber was a case of the factory not cutting them of the mouldings right" So I started to educate him on the history of DT's and the like but he soon got bored. |

| Thanks! Glad to know i'm not the only one, even if it happened to others by accident. My Luke and Obi Wan are the same, and it is possible at least one broke off and then I bit the others off to even them out. But, I do remember being bothered that when the lighsaber was "turned off" that you could still see it. The things that we did when we were kids.

| Parents just don't get it. I know back in the 90's I bought a huge collection with nearly everything kenner made in it and my dad always wondered why I was willing to do that. He came from a non collector era. He was born in the 30's so they grew up with nothing and he didn't like anything really until his later years when he got into gun collecting (might have been more out of desire to have guns everywhere than for the sake of collecting). |

| You guys know I don't normally share much of my collection with everyone, but I just got this piec and overly excited. Obviously my favorite character is wicket. He was the first Star Wars figure I can actually remember opening and my childhood figure is still with me to this day. In the years since being on the forums my collection went from just Kenner to variants and finally to Kenner and a complete Ledy set. I am only missing two major Ledy variants that are known but this doesn't pertain to those. This pertains to Ledy and my favorite character. So here it is: My first Ledy cardback and with the exception of a fett and an imperio esb Ledy this is one of the only three Ledy cardbacks I want. Super happy to add this and a huge thanks to John for helping me to get it in hand. Some kind of melted plastic or hot glue on the rear. Someone tried to peel it at one time or another because it has pulled a tiny bit off the back so it will stay in place. Can't ask for a better front though. Would one of the cardback guys be so kind as to tell me if there are multiple wicket cards? This is a regreso 50 back positive what other ones exist for wicket? |
