| Hi. I have received a raised bar china Luke FB. Trying to authenticate the saber. I know some of the repro sabers do NOT glow under UV light. Just wondering if any original sabers also DO NOT glow under UV light? I believe the correct version of the lightsaber for the raised bar china is V4. Smooth, round tip. This part looks correct. But it doesn't glow.... |

| Hi! I'm afraid I don't have a specific answer for you but I've asked the same question in another thread so keep an eye on this too:

I do know my Taiwan saber is original and barely glows at all under UV (figure D in my images). I'm also certain of the flat transition sabers, and they glow like crazy things! It's the round-transition sabers I'm not so certain of, they either don't glow so much or mine are fake. Slightly worrying it that the broken tip round transition saber does glow.
Hopefully this reply bumps this thread and we get some answers
Also if you could post some pics of the saber (both in natural and under UV light if possible) then we might be able to compare and help each other?
Good Luck! Mat |
