I got myself into a little predicament.
I have a friend who asked me to find some figs for him. Nothing crazy. He is not a collector, he just wanted some old beaters to have and show his kids and put on a shelf. Some of his list I had as extras, some Ive been buying up cheap on Ebay. I always look at the COO's of any figs I get, but I know
nothing about which are rare or more valuable (and I'm terrible at identifying colors). I got some in the mail and looking at a Lando Skiff started an avalanche of web pages open at once and maybe my brain melted a little. Then a Squidhead belt put me over the edge.
I want to give my friend the figs he wants but because he doesn't care which coo he gets, I dont want to give him something thats maybe I should hold onto myself because its cool or trade/sell to a variant collector. I started to feel the pull of variant collecting I always read about, but realize I am not really ready to enter the vast confusing world of variants especially for all 100 or so figs.
In short I was hoping someone could give me some basic answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Lando Skiff (left pic) I think is Ledy but am unsure. If it is Ledy, does that mean it was sold in Mexico? It could have been made for sale in US on a US card? A "regular" HK Lando is right pic. Are Ledy Lando S. Rare?
This Squidhead has a belt that I cant see pictured in the weapon/accessories guide (letter C). I wondered if it was commonly known or if some pics should be added. Maybe someone is a Squidhead collector out there can shed some light. I dont think the Coo is rare and I dont know for sure if the belt is orig to the fig but I added a pic anyway. The gun is darker grey.
Is one of these Han Hoth figures more rare or desired? I thought maybe the darker pants on the left were more "special"?
With this Leia Boushh I dont think theres any reason Taiwan (I think brown eyes) is rarer? Just in case...
