| Hey guys I am just wondering how can you tell the differance between a loose POTF verses a regular Kenner vintage one. I know there are some that were only done for the POTF line but others like Luke in X-wing gear, chewie and Imperial Stormtrooper for example are the coo the same or different. I still need to complete the loose POTF part of my collection and sometimes I will see on ebay a loose figure listed as a last 17 POTF but no card or coin so just curious if there is a difference. If not anyone have any POTF coins for trade or sale. |

| I'm not a coin collector Larry, but I'm sure other more knowledgeable guys will chime in. But do the original POTF coins have a date stamp on them (1984/5)? where as the more modern coins will have a much later date stamp on them. Also if you have the new 'The Ultimate Guide to Vintage Star Wars Action Figures' book by Mark Bellomo, turn to page 144 and the whole lot are clearly depicted, which would help as a visual reference guide or are you referring to the the figures? As far as I'm aware, with the exception of perhaps a few later variants, such as the no coo Yoda. Most regular Kenner figures on POTF cards are the same figures as found on ROTJ/tri-logo cards. |

| Right thanks Chris I forgot to check that book. I just bought it so still reading it great book though. I am referring to the figures themselves as to what difference there may be, if I am not mistaken the Tri-Logos don't have a COO correct. |

If you mean just the 'Last 17' figures they are ALL the same- no CoO regardless of what cardback, baggie etc. they came on. |

| Larry, the figures are the same as far as I know. Are you referring to the "last 17"? As far as I know they are the same coo marking on trilogos as on potf cards. If your asking about other figures released on the potf cards I dont think they made new coo markings since all of the rest of the line was already released on jedi cards. I could be wrong, but there are no figures with that late of a date on them in the coo guide aside from the last 17 figures.
Edit: AJ beat me to it. |

| Thanks bud I only have a few POTF figs in my collection and they are the ones that were only made for the last 17 like R2-D2 with pop up saber and a MOC imperial gunner but I have none that were done prior to the line like Luke in X-Wing gear or chewie so I wasn't sure if there was a difference now I know. |

| To the best of my knowledge, any figures that were not exclusive to the POTF cardback are the same as any other basic production figure. A Luke X Wing would not be any different than one coming off a 20 back. |
