Snowspeeder Question Empty
PostSubject: Snowspeeder Question   Snowspeeder Question I_icon_minitimeSat Nov 15, 2014 3:49 pm

This question comes from one of our Facebook followers: 'Why is it so hard to remove batteries from a 1980 Kenner Snowspeeder?'

(I have to admit that I have also had issues fitting & removing batteries from this vehicle)

Anyone else had this issue?

Was the battery compartment made slightly too small?

Are UK / European size C batteries larger than their US counterpart?

All constructive comments are welcome. Very Happy

I have the same problem here in Canada, and most of our products are the same as the US versions. So it's not just the UK / European ships. I was wondering if the batteries have gotten just a little bit bigger?

An increase in physical battery size could explain it Clint.

What does everyone else think?

Thank you so much for the reply. I have 7 complete snowspeeders and it's so hard to remove the batteries.

I'd say it was just a bad design, I can clearly remember having trouble doing it back when I was a kid.
