| Agree with Chris - for such a small part in the film he is just looks so cool and is such a badass mutha...
He oozes indie cool.
If he was a rockstar he WOULD be Johnny Thunders... |

| I agree. He is a cool mutha. No matter if it's vintage, bootleg, or modern... he is the most visually appealing character. |

| Also historically speaking, its very interesting that he was released on a SW card yet didn't appear till ESB in the movies. I also like the fact that he is the only character to have that little blurb of text telling you about him on the SW cards. Oh and he is bad ass Not $1000 bad ass but still cool in my eyes |

| I think a lot of it has to do with hype and if you look just at the original movies the mystery of the character. Kenner was hyping up Boba Fett a good year or so and he even had the appearance in the holiday special in '78 still almost a good yeah and a half before ESB came out. He was one of the first looks into ESB and while he didn't have a huge role in the movie, I think kids imaginations went wild with the year or so that they were able to play with him ahead of time. You also have what happened to the missile firing feature to throw in there adding to the original mystery of the figure. |

I was strictly speaking about the figure + MOC as a collectible now but Shawn is quite right, Boba was HYPED to the max, mail aways, rocket firing, strange new character, the kids must have been on and on to their parents about getting a "Boba" I think hes cool, I admire those that have Boba Fett collection as thats some serious wedge. (money not the pilot ) Like most things in this hobby I wish the price would be consistent with the amount of items in existence then I might pick a Boba MOC up considering there is one everywhere you go lol |

| Fett was one of the first figures I got along with the Vader, Luke, C-3PO,R2-D2 and Chewy. Too bad I don't remember what card it was, but he was the coolest thing going back in the day. |

| It's been said that the amount of carded Canadian figures vs American is about 1-4 or 1-5 so its not surprising you didn't see one as a kid, also I think this particular MOC was more likely distributed through that awesome mailer box containing MOC figures as shown on the Archive link.
I have read a few times that in terms of price, they hit high but they still don't get the level of respect they deserve, I think between this and a Harbert Boba you couldn't find a rarer carded Fett. |

| You can't count the only carded Rocket Fett because its not a production piece So I still win (then again I think a Ledy is certainly worthy of a mention in the top 3!) |

| The rocket-firing fett was pre-production yet still carded. And a minty MOC Ledy would be above a 20-back in my book. |

| I only know of 2 Ledy and 2 Canadian 20 backs, then again I should imagine there are at least 10 out there of each (those black hole collections!)
How many Harberts are known, is it really 1? |
