Hi,

I'm gearing up to get some good photos done of my loose figures for a project I'm working on. As such, I want them in the best condition possible with all dust, dirt, smudges etc removed for the best possible shot.

Any recommendations out there on best/safest way to do this? At the moment I've started out on a few with some luke warm water, washing up detergent and a soft toothbrush to scrape away dirt. Seems to be doing the job alright -- but then was wonderig if the detergent might end up being harmful in some way ...

Any experiences/suggestions anyone want to share?

Cheers, Jared.

Using mild detergent and water (as you described above) is generally regarded as the safest method. Avoid bleaching agents such as hydrogen peroxide.
