| Hi,
Did anyone see the results for some carded figures in a Vectis auction a couple of months ago? One in particular was from 18th Feb -- an FX-7 on a Palitoy 41 back card that finished at £7,000!?!
Is there something special about this one that I am not aware of? That doesn't even factor in the 20% buyers premium either ...
Cheers, Jared. |

| Wasn't it a debut 30A? - sith-smith wrote:
- Well
1. It's rare...Not sure I'd place it as mega mega uber impossible rare...but rare. Probably rarer than the Tri-Madine!
2. It's a Palitoy Debut Card. i.e. it's the first card on which that figure was released, so anyone looking for a debut Palitoy run needs it
3. People love 30 backs. They have been more popular and harder fought over than the 12 backs since around 2002/3 and that doesn't seem to have changed
4. Considering the above 3 points, a lot of people want one and apparently were prepared to throw money at it
Personally I think it's shocking that things have got that pricey. :? |

Yep, that pretty much sums up my reaction as well. But, on the other hand it shows that the passion for the hobby is very much alive and well in the community and everyone has their own collecting goals to pursue ... |

I think we should put things in perspective here. That is only £700,- for each point of articulation. |
