I have two Ben sabers here that i thought should be identical, but they are not.

They both float, sound the same when dropped, have the same flexibility, both have break marks on the shaft by the hilt end, and both look the same under a blacklight.

However ... one of them definitely has a much longer (& thinner) tip, appears to be more translucent above a bright white light, and the hilt is "thinner".

Could one of these be a Repro?

Likely both are original. The lightsabers can vary a bit depending on time of production and which factory produced.

You can see several different original ben sabers in the above link, but the best pic is the vader sabers all on one pic. All original except the 95 re-release one, yet none are identical. Lightsabers are one of if not the hardest weapons to authenticate because of the little differences in them.

Okay .... I was just wondering. Since they look to be different "thickness" wise.

But both are flat-tipped transition sabers also.
