I think there are two kind of no coo r2 sencor, one with small writtings, and one with bigger. I think the bigger one is not that hard to find, and the smaller one is considered as meccano version

You learn something new every day in this hobby, had no idea there were 2 no coo variants, anyone got any idea on the value so I don't do myself when I sell it, learned that lesson when I sold my meccano leia for £50

| It was an original Leia- 20 back square card Yeah the R2 sensorscope with the markings at '12 oclock' not '3 o'clock' is harder to find. ps. not all domes are the same- mixing & matching is edit: - Wbobafett;18657367 wrote:

Ill have to admit this is not up to date! But thats how stickers can look like! Its just an example for what can be accidently "created" by not knowing!!

@ aussie: the domes look different. if you look at the picture of the back, the blue band is much longer on the left one than on the right one

Thank you for the picture, Nicolas. Here is a R2 from my collection. It has COO#5 according to the 2.0 COO Guide. The "G.M.F.G.I. 1977" text is placed at 12 o'clock (between the legs) instead of at 3 o'clock (COO#3). Also the text of COO#5 is in a smaller font compared to COO#3. The dome is clearly dull silver. The blue on the legs is very dark. This figure was found in France by a befriended collector. So all according to your observations, though the COO is different. BTW: POCH solid dome R2s have a similar dull dome. Whatever that means.
