I've been curious about this for years & thought some of you experts here might be able to provide the answer.

  Why does the Lando (Skiff Guard Disguise) figure, pictured on the 77 back cards, have unpainted legs?
(They've plain white with no paint apps at all)

Hi t'shot. It's not usual for card back or promotional items to feature prototype of first shot figures.

In the case of the lando skiff it's most likely a first shot, a similar figure is featured here....

On a side not, what I've give for that top toys lando?!?!?

I've always liked the 'odd' figures on this cardback:

The thing that's always stuck me as strange, about this, is that the normal (production like) figure's are pictured on 65 & 79 backs.

It'd make more sense (to me) if a pre-production figure had featured on the 65, while the 77 onwards pictured the finished production figures... still, I suppose, the red coat Bib & black cape Squid Head were still featuring on card backs & promotional posters for ages.

I've always liked the look of that Han's coat with brown fur hood, it's a pity that was dropped on the finished item

I'd never noticed, before, that the picture used on that card was a mirror image... Han Solo as a 'Southpaw'
