| Hi everybody. A couple of years (or so) ago my home needed a new central heating system fitting. This entailed the total emptying of the loft, for a couple of days, whilst the work was being carried out.. so I grabbed the opportunity to take a picture of all my (childhood) Star Wars toys which are kept in storage due lack of display space. Hope you don't mind me sharing 'em. Vehicles: [img] [/img] Cardbacks: [img] [/img] Those were the days! [img] [/img] Tri-Pod Action: [img] [/img] Thanks for looking T'shot |

Many thanks. I come from a family of hoarders, very little ever got thrown away. I've still got the backing cards for the very first & last figures I purchased new from toy shops too: [img] [/img] Farmboy Luke & Warok. Luke's (the figure itself) in appalling condition.. but I'm so sentimentally attached that I'll never part with him. I'm surprised these are in such good condition... [img] [/img] .. as I spent ages drooling over them Hi Artoo-Detour, Yep it was wonderful to play with them again They've gone a little yellow around the edges, with age, but I was always careful so it's all complete & unbroken: Anther hobby of mine is setting up (photographing) toy dioramas, it was fantastic to be able to recreate scenes & classic box-art while I had the chance [img] [/img] [img] [/img] |

| That is a first class childhood collection. Thanks for sharnig, Eddie! It is like you took those boxes from a time machine instead of from your loft. Great pictures too. I like the remake of the ROTJ Milllennium Falcon box art. |

| Many thanks for the nice comments guys. I recently undertook the task of photo-cataloguing my collection loose vintage figures (one again lack of room dictates they are kept in storage ) Here's some of the better photo's: Boba's paint job's very battle worn (I've got a much better one) but he's got immense sentimental value. Cheers T'shot |
