I actually think they have been identical at 1st but my wife repainted ours and added the Halo - what are the odds of us having the same tree topper
The lighted glass block present is really cool
and I love the cat proofing you did to your tree Thanks James. That tree topper is the one that the kids pick every year to put on top. Great minds think alike when picking out christmas ornaments. The tree topper is one that my wife had already when we met, so I can't take any credit for that one. Did your wife pick the topper out??? My sister made the glass block ornament for us. It's a standard glass block used for windows or walls. She just drilled a hole in it, and put a small string of christmas lights inside. Then put a ribbon and bow on it. It looks great all lit up in the evening. As for the tree. Our cats were just 5 & 9 months old last year and our tree didn't last 2 nights before they toppled it a couple of times. So this year, I wasn't taking any chances. My wife wasn't very impressed that I use just plain white chord. But it did the job. I've also kept a squirt bottle full of water near by and any time they decided to play around the tree, they got a squirt. |

| I always go to Hallmark the day after Christmas to buy our ornaments - they are marked down 50 % The ornaments average regular price is usually - $15 to $20 so after x-mas you can get them for $8 to $10 each If you guys don't have a Hallmark in your area I would be glad to go to ours and see if they have any of the cool ones left for you Just let me know which ones you want for sure and I will do my best I found this catalog online of what they had available this year : http://www.hallmark.com/keepsake-ornaments/dream-book/ over 1/2 the stuff is pretty cheesey but they always put out at least a few cool ones |

| Good news my fellow geeks I just got back from Hallmark and I bought 4 Frankenstein's and 2 Alien's (all they had left) . The Frankie's were $15 - so after the 1/2 price discount and with sales tax they were only about $9 each The Alien's were $18 - so after the 1/2 price discount and with sales tax they were only about $11 each They were sold out of the Cornelius POTA ornaments unfortunately ... 1 Frankie and 1 Alien goes to Andy for sure 1 Frankie to Paul (Kisstour) if he wants it Still have 2 Frank and 1 Alien to go to a good home I highly recommend checking your local Hallmark store if you have one available , but , if you can't find them and still want one speak up and claim it All I want is the my cost for the ornament and shipping Unfortunately , although they are light , international shipping will still probably be $8 to $10 |
