| not sure where this needs to go, but figured it would be better here. I was talking with DarthTad, tonight about myself thinking of getting a set of Mando armour up next year. yhea i got into the whole Mando thing reading the Republic Commando series and was wanting a set now. does anybody state side know of anybody who is real good with making them that wont cost more than an arm and a leg? i got heads up on the helm but want someone to outfit the rest of the kit. i got the colors in mind already and got a heads up from someone on who to talk to. i want more input on who i need to discuss it with before i jump on anything. |

| Hey Chris, How about this Mandolorian armour (seen on CE 2). it only requires you to have man boobs. (ok sorry, can't help you much here) |

| the two that I would recomend contacting are the 501's vaders fist great group who can give you great ideas on where you can get the best prices we have a group here in victoria B.C. they are very knowledgeable and know who to trust for the best armor and the other one who I have bought parts for my fleet trooper outfit mainly the helmet is studio creation and at this time they don't appear to have any mando armor but they would be a good one to talk to to see if they have a set coming later they make the armor on site which keeps cost done for example my fleet trooper helmet was a very good price concidering the only one that would compare to the quality is Shepperton Design Studios in England they made the movie ones at a fraction of the cost. those would be the ones I would trust as I have delt with and have gotten to know each of them.
here are the links to both http://www.studiocreations.com/ http://www.501st.com/ |

| Besides the 501st, there are groups like the Mando Mercs. I'm a new member, so I can't post a link yet, but you can Google "Mando Mercs" and get to their site at Firespray dot net.
From what I understand, they go for something pretty authentic (well, for fictional characters, anyway) and have armor standards for sizing and appearance that, if nothing else, are appropriate to follow. |

| for overall suit building, Jason Blowers (I think it's Jason) built an Uzay Headman outfit from scratch. He may be able to help with the basics of costume building |

| Chris as I am currently putting together a Imperial gunner outfit I have done quite a bit of hunting around for armour and stuff for trooping in it might be worth you joining http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/ as they may be able to help you, might also be worth joining the http://thebhg.net/forum/ the bounty hunter site of the 501st. Over here in the UK we have http://www.bobamaker.co.uk/index.html (other makers are available) I know that they ship all over the world and there stuff is quite good. If you need anymore help I'm just a PM away as I'm getting quite into this. |
