I personally think this is a horrible choice for the role as Batman in Zack Snyder's Batman-Superman movie... Whats everyone else's thought?

I like Ben all right but I don't think he would be my 1st choice to play Batman ... Maby Matt Damon can play Robin

Aside from picking an unknown, new comer, I guess he could do all right.
I know not many people like it, but I thought he did well in Daredevil.

I guess we will see........

Christian Bale wants rodding with a red hot poker.

Not only has he turned down the next batman film but he has also turned down Terminator 5 !!!!!

I don't much like the idea of Ben Affleck being the new Batman.

Regardless of whether Christian Bale is a nice guy, he did a damn good job as Batman. The trilogy was brilliant with the pinnacle being The Dark Night, in my humble opinion.

I'm scared it will turn too comic book again, like the earlier incarnations with Michael Keaton et al....

I think they should leave the franchise for a little. It's far to soon for a reinvention.

If you remember back in the day when Micheal Keaton was cast for Batman... everyone was pissed back then also! Saying he was going to be horrible! And he turned out to be one of the best!


I'm still not sold on Afleck... but he's turned in to an ok actor. Lets give him a chance!
