| 2013 Turned out to be a crazy year for my collecting. An unbelievable amount of my collection was sold. Overall, I'm happy with the changes of course. It's just amazing how much went through my hands. Figured it would be fun to see what I started 2012 with , and it's year end replacement. I'm not counting stuff that was bought in 2013 and sold in 2013. Since I only collect one of each figure, I sell the old one when a new one comes in. I also try for one every card type so sometimes I need to sell something to fill a hole and then replace another figure to refill the hole I created.
As a grating example I needed a Canadian GDE 12BK. So I bought a Ben Kenobi GDE which meant selling my currenet Ben. But my Ben Kenobi was a Meccano square 20bk, and the only Meccano square 20bk I owned. So I now needed to get a Meccano sqaure 20bk. That made me buy the Death Squad Commander. Which then made me sell off my Harbert Death Squad Commander. But that worked, since I also had a Tusken Raider Harbert. Whew!Love to hear if you liked a certain move, or thought I should have kept something. Also very curious to hear how you move stuff around, and ever make big changes ?General Madine 1st shot became ROTJ Meccano Became A little Complicated, But Blue Snaggletooh / Greedo 2 Pack and Test Red Snaggletooth became Red Snaggie/Greedo 2 Pack and Baggie Blue Snaggie Became 41BK Hammerhead Became POCH 45BK ESB Became Luke Hoth 48BK Became a Canadian Transition Became Kenner Walrusman became a Canadian ESB Walrusman Became Han Trenchcoat / Hoth Snowtrooper 2 Pack became Gllasslite Snowtrooper and ROTJ Han Trenchcoat Became Tsukuda Bib Fortuna , ROTJ Leia Boushh became ROTJ 2 Pack Became Paploo ROTJ became a UHU Glue Stick Pack Became Rebel Commander Clipper Became ROTJ Rebel Commander with Australian Coin Offer Became Harbert Death Squad Commander Became Meccano Death Squad Commander Became Glasslite Luke Became Takara 12BK Became Meccano Ben Kenobi Became Canadian GDE 12BK Became Canadian Transition Leia Hoth Became POCH 37/41 BK ESB Became Canadian GDE 12BK Became Palitoy 12BK (in between I had a 12BK Harbert) Became Trilogo Biker Scout Became a Miscard Biker Scout on R5D4 Cardback Became Canadian Transition ATAT Driver became a Trilogo ATAT Driver Became Meccano Luc Bespin became a POPY Luke Bespin Became POPY Death Star Droid became a Trilogo Death Star Droid Became Clipper Mailer Darth Vader became a 12bk Canadian GDE Became Loose Blue Stars became a Carded Uzay Blue Stars Became Additionally I also got out of proofs, loose figures, and non Uzay bootlegs completely. So I said adieu to these guys. |

| That's some turnaround! I like how Paploo ROTJ became a UHU Stick pack - especially as we saw AFA trash one of these this year The Canadian GDE C-3PO must have been hard to let go, but a good swap for the Pali. Loose Blue Stars - carded |

| great additions John one suggesstion to improve your collection... you need to find a miscard R5-D4 on a Biker Scout cardback - that would be a extremely cool addition to add and it would compliment your current Biker beautifully |

| Wow, some very nice items joining and leaving your collection, some of them most have been very hard decisions. Looking forward to when we all review this years targets and set out what we do for 2014!

| Your method of collecting is completely insane John but I some how love it! I'm a hoarder so I guess I admire your ability to part with such amazing pieces. |

| I really enjoy watching your collection evolve John, although I hadn't realised quite how many changes you have made this year! At least it keeps things fresh for you! |

| Nice work John !!! Amazing ever evolving collection.
I have a feeling that 2014 will be a "flippin" good year for me !!
I am a hoarder with 600+ loose figures and only a small clue of exactly what I have. I have at least 3 complete sets including last 17 and blue snag etc and its time to down size, quality over quantity will be my new ethos!
MOC is really not my thing so all of those will be filpped too. Hoping it will be a new start for my collection and a chance to pass on some of my babies to TIG homes and possibly help house some TIG members figures.
Really impressed with the way you can let stuff go and will hopefully be inspired to get moving on this soon.
Thanks for sharing !! |

| I've said it before there's no way I could stick to just one of each figure. But if I had to I'd have your collection John. |

| A fantastic collection of rare foreign mocs John, I really admire the way your able to let things go in order to fund buying alternative replacements. It's such a great way of keeping your collection fresh and exciting, and doesn't hit your wallet quite so hard either. However i'm way too much of a hoarder to ever be strong enough to let such rare pieces go. I would want to hold on to all of them and still be looking for more!! Which i know would be a far more expensive way of doing it, not that i have the budget to collect any of those lovely rarities in your collection Despite your couple of set backs with the Blue stars and Takara Luke FB mocs, due to circumstances out of your control, I would say that 2013 has been an outstanding collecting year for you John, congratulations mate |

| You were pretty busy this year John! Wow...the DSC swap was surely a tough one?!?! You semm now miss a Harbert...though. There is some Meccano squae cards around but a DSC is definatley one of the rarer ones I would guess. Anyway....seems a tough one to me! Wolff |
