We where watching youtube on the PS3, and a fan made documentary showed up. I said lets see that and my buddy wanted to see it as well. After 44min he had to go and I paused, saw it was 7 hours long. Not seen the entire thing yet but it's lots of stuff I havent seen so far already.

Guys, these homemade documentaries are by Jambe Davdar.

There are 3 in total, and the 7hr online doc is all these combined....

Building Empire
Returning to Jedi

They were originally released online as DVD's and if your lucky enough to own these, they have additional bonus content on the discs along with all the standard stuff you'ld expect, ie menus, chapter select etc etc....

Haven't seen this before. Must have missed those. I do recognize most of the interviews from Empire of Dreams though. But a lot of fotage I've never seen before. Gonna try and see this over the next few days lol

I have watched the first hour now.
Now I know what animal sound was used for the Tusken Raiders, on which language tbe Jawa language was based, and why the Tosche Station scene was deleted.
Can't wait to watch the remaining six hours.

More trivia from this great documentary: the Mouse Droid in the Death Star was based upon............. R2's foot.

Indeed it looks that way, had never realized this before.

Just watched the first half hour, think I'm just gonna tackle it like that, that way it's kinda like a whole season of Star Wars documentary.  

Fantastic how it's done, I've always thought Star Wars has missed having a real in depth Documentary, the DVD release version was good at 21/2 hours, but this should seriously kick it's arse!
