Well after my unlucky incident with the fake tri-logo fett, this happens!! Original eBAY photo... I contacted the seller as I thought the figure looked in good shape, and asked him to confirm the COO markings. He replied with just "CPG 1979" so I thought i'd better bid on this and see what happens. I won the auction for £11 and look what turns up? A tri-logo pK/pD, whilst he's a little battered, but for £11 i'm chuffed Looks like the seller unintentionally screwed himself by using someone else's photo PS and it passes the UV test

Thanks Stefan!
I remember reading the first few posts in that thread, thinking all is good, but I had missed the later updates with UV proof.

That fake looked so real when looking at it in your hand, even comparing it to others in daylight. +1 to the UV test!!

Haha, you can't beat a good old screw up seller, I won a dark boot's Luke Bespin once while bidding on a standard blonde Luke for a fiver...... and Likewise won a mustard haired total beater for 3 quid while bidding on a 'mint' dark boots Luke? Guess it goes both ways (I complained and got my 3 quid back though!) This fellow of yours has two shade's of brown on his belt as well, dark on the torso and not so dark on the legs which is an unusual combo as well. Is it fading or just different in general?

Toy Karma indeed Both legs are consistant to each other, but the brown is lighter than the torso. I can't see any touch up in natural daylight or under UV. There does not appear to be any patchiness which you may expect from fading caused by sunlight. So my best guess if different spray operations / paint batches at the factory. He'll do me nicely for now, but i'm unsure if i'll ever find an affordable mint example as the paintwork on these tri-logos is shocking.

Interesting paint combo, like you said, fading is rarely consistant all over especially on to different limbs and it's not the light brown paint ap. eithwer its too dark for that, very nice all the same and especially for 11 quid It is difficult to find mint paintwork on Tri Fetts though, very easily damaged, like I said before it's a shame I didn't know you last year when I sold my spare. This is mine I won as part of a local auction: He is almost perfect paint wise with barely a nick anywhere, and his limbs a factory fresh stiff. The one I already had was almost as good but a couple of his limbs where a little loose he have been your in an instant if I'd have known.
