Good to hear Joe's still in the game - don't use FB so rarely see him around anywhere else.
It's a really good interview and helps nail down some of the long-established points about bootlegs and repros that are sometime lost on the newer collector.

Seeing pics of those boots and steel moulds again is mouth-watering

I'm trying to be around more, definitely expanding back into posting on the forums. LOTS going on right now, and many key bootleg collectors collaborating with me on the project that's started and stopped a few times, but now seems on the right track. Thanks for the kind words guys.

I have to agree, it's one of the best interviews so far an bobbybobs blog page. There's alot of good info hidden within and took me 2 good reading sessions to get through it all. I loved the early day stories. It's sad to hear you had to sell some of the uzay tooling but hopefully there in good hands. I hope the book will document the full story behind discovering these?

As for the book, fingers crossed I can pick one up in person at CE3, you'll be able to sign it "happy 40th bday", for me

Hey guys thanks for the praise! An interview is only as good as the subject so I was on a winner all the way with this one...I usually post my full length interviews here but the last few didn't really get much traction plus it's hard keeping up with all the groups/forums/blogs these days! I need a secretary... But I do really love this forum and I've said many times how great the atmosphere is here. I'll do my best to check in more and keep an eye on you crazy kids....
