Palitoy levitation? Empty
PostSubject: Palitoy levitation?   Palitoy levitation? I_icon_minitimeSat Aug 03, 2013 10:32 pm

I Just got a Vader I purchased on ebay. It was called "65 Back PALITOY long Blister". I was hoping to get a little help.
Does Darth Vader usually "float" in that bubble? Is it glued? Is it normal or common for Palitoy (or anyone) to somehow attach the fig to the cardback?
I paid about $135 (US) with shipping. Is that about right, too much or did I get a deal?
I want to leave feedback but dont want to until I know if its ok that Vader is levitating. Maybe you see something bad Ive missed?
Thanks TIG'ers.

Probably after being stored under a long time in the same position, the vinyl cape have stuck on to the cardback making the vader sit in the air. That's what I think at least Smile nice moc.

So you dont think the factory glued it on purpose? Its a fluke? Looks to good to be an accident.

Edit: wrote from phone and sounded a bit offensive when I read on computer. Never meant it to be like that.

No, I don't think that it's glued. I have not heard or seen anything like that. I'm not a moc expert but think I opened around a 100 figures when I was a kid and at least none of those where glued. I don't really see why they would glue figures to the cardbacks either. Vinyl though can get stuck to surfaces if warm etc. That seems more logical to me. Might fall down if you shake it a bit, but if unlucky it could rip a piece of the paper which would suck.
