| You going to make any extra cast to sell? I am interested in one if you do. I think it turned out great. |

| Wow that casting looks awesome! How is the casting process created? it would be great if you could put up some pics, explaining the process. Once painted that is going to be a truly fantastic custom, congratulations. |

| Thanks everyone. I should have painted pictures in a couple days. Right now I'm working on a stand for it. I'm think making it jabba's palace themed. - trappedtexan wrote:

Thanks, If there's enough interest I might do a run of them. |

| Impressive work there! I was concerned that you'd have some molding problems with the negative space behind the hands but it turned out just perfect. Well done!
Also, that Tauntaun head is magnificent. Are you also an RPF member? |

| Sorry John, rank has nothing to do with it. I asked first. Get in line. On a serious note that makes at least 3 that would buy them. I am sure there are more and these would probably do very well once the word really gets out. I am hoping you make them as they are a perfect edition to the vintage 12 inch lineand would look great displayed with them. |

| Alright, I'll cast up another one and pay attention to how much materials and time it takes and figure out a fair price. Thanks Everyone! |

| Are you casting these using plastic / resin or using a vacuum forming machine? You probably know all of this but here's a thought: If you're using a mold ,even with separating agent, you will start wearing out the mold after 50 casts or so. I've got a pretty good feeling you'll want the option of making more than that. This is a very attractive piece you've made and I think you'll be getting lots of interested buyers. If you source a vacuum forming machine you could make higher numbers faster and cheaper and could cast them in a dark grey plastic (probably wouldn't need much painting, just details/highlights). Either way you may want to make a master-positive (out of something very resilient) which you could use for further reproduction. You could also look into getting one of these cast in bronze. You'd find a buyer for sure. I did some bronze casting years back ;I used to go to central Mexico to do them and it cost a fraction of doing it where I lived (in Canada)... I was literally trading crates of beer for casting (plus going into the foundry to cast them yourself is pretty cool). From the looks of your work you probably know way more than I do about casting but maybe this sparks an idea. - Julian |

| Everyone
We are all interested in these but TIG does have rules on selling, even when it's cool.
Please hang on while I speak with dragonula. |

| John, if he is allowed to sell them I want one. I know there is a 40 post limit for the classifieds, so let me know your decision. Thanks. |
