I'll admit I'm new here but I've been having trouble finding much information on the Imperial Stormtroopers Vinyl Skirt. So I decided to take some photos, put them up here and ask for your wise opinions.
The photos are of one (what I'll call "Original" or "O") that I am 80% sure is real (sound/scratch test and thickness feels right) but has these "Holes or Nubs" where the hole should be. The next one (what I'll call "Repro 1" or "R1) that I just received from ebay and am sure its repro (too thin and flimsy, and wrong texture). The next one (what I'll call "Repro 2" or "R2") I received a few months ago and discovered was repro (too thin, too smooth, and too big/long) after it was too late to return it or get a refund. I would love confirmation that I am correct on these diagnoses I made. Both "O" and "R1" came with Hong Kong COO figures but each a different COO's #'s. Not sure that the skirts are original to the figures obviously.

Did I post this in the wrong section? too many pictures?
I could use some help just to make sure the repros I found are repros and not variants in any way. I haven't been able to find any info on this site about it, but maybe I'm not looking in the right section.

I have trouble with the capes as well, so hopefully some of the other guys will enlighten us with their wisdom.

Except for a few exceptions I'd expect all the real capes to feel & 'sound' the same. ( compare them to other figures' vinyl capes )

It's hard to tell on these. I'm really not good at these because I haven't had that many.
But don't throw them away even if you think they are repro. There are a large bunch of repros. I think they are a bit thicker then the original and the holes and size may differ a little. But it was so long ago since I checked one last time.

There are some variants that could be mistaken for repros. So it's good to save them incase you learn more later and it turn out it wasn't a repro. Just my thought.
The European capes don't have the pattern which you see on the US versions vinyl, and as an example if you read in the awesome poch/PBP thread, the poch one doesn't make the typical zip sound and differ a bit as well.

I will hold onto them until I can find more information. I think one came from a Euro fig.
