I do have a Vader case I can add as well.
Hopefully some of the other collectors can post some of their collections.

Have a buncha of these, but had no idea there were other colours. Only have light grey...

Could the black trays be a Canadian release? My original ESB case has black trays as well. Not sure about the dark gray trays either?
Hope fully some of the other case collectors have some thoughts.
I know there are cases with tan trays. Let's see them.

Unproduced ESB Action Figure case


Description:

The case features the original Star Wars artwork with the Empires Strikes Back logo. The case features a unique “closing” design, where a hole had been die cut into a larger flap, where the carrying handle slides through to keep it shut. This differs from the normal snap that had affixed to the top of the production case. The interior plastic of the production case is blue, where this one is grey to match the trays. Stickers have also been affixed to the interior trays, detailing the names of thirteen “new” characters for the Empire Strikes Back movie. Oddly enough, R2D2 and C3PO are present with their original titles, rather than C3PO with removable legs or R2D2 with Sensorscope.

Thanks Paul. I don't think it was ever used.  The stickers are still un-applied. I was just testing my new camera. My old camera got squished on the motorcycle trip in July on the very first day.  I'll take some more pictures for the POTB thread.

Seeing as I blantently using TIG to sell of all my coins, I better start contributing lol...

Here's a Pre-production Transparancy for the ROTJ case:







I picked this up from Eddie Albano who purchased an Ex-Kenner employee collection. One thing to not is that the logo is missing. So perhaps they were looking to add this later or change it to the power of the force. I'm not sure.



Next up is a favourite piece of mine. The gold C3PO case. I bought as a teenager when I started recollecting seriously in the 90s. This was MISP, whereby the C3PO case was shrink wraped in celophane. Below are an exhautive shot of photos. I of course opened it up to see inside. I think if I do move on to sellling my Star Wars playsets and accessories then this will be a keeper. I consider it childhood owned since I have had for over 18 years.



Below are loads of different shot. I did have an idea to but mint versions of the all the figures that there were stickers for and fill it.

Vince, welcome to the party.   Those are some great additions to the case thread.   I don't have a C-3PO case for my collection yet. So it's nice to see some great examples from you and Craig.

p.s Glad you like the Candian Chewie Bandolier. I have to get some more pictures taken for the POTB thread soon. The weather is just starting to get nice here, so I'll be able to take pictures outside again.
