Hmm, I wonder what Abbott & Costello really had to do with horror movie (besides a couple of slapstick ones...maybe thats a new (old) genre. Slapstick horror. A bit like the Globetrotters meet Frankenstein?

I hope that's not the way people are playing. The point is to make the fewest connections from memory, and if you're going to use anything, the IMDB helps. But how can we improve this? (BTW- I didn't invent this game, I've just played it for years with others, and usually we're sitting face to face).

I watched Terror in the Aisles a couple times over the years when it aired on some oddball channel here or there.
...and yeah, Abbot and Costello weren't in anything scary.

As for playing the game, if nothing jumps out at me, I will look at Bacon's IMDB page as a reminder of his stuff and see if I can then start drawing lines. Some are easy but some I have no freakin idea. Especially the older actors. I barely know the big stars of B&W, let alone their lesser known co-stars so I am basically useless on those without a ton of IMDB time so I normally pass on those.

OK.... let's see........

I hope I've got the right guy here... it looks like the guy from the westerns, but his list of other tv & movies is a bit shorter. I seem to remember him doing a ninja show back in the 80's (I think that was him) so here we go...

That's part of the point I'm trying to make, it's an old game with 100's of Kevin Bacon links already made and listed on the internet.

Maybe we could have invented a "Six ways to Harrison Ford" game? something new, unique and related to SW

As for closing it, I say NAH... we are starting the good months here in the US with the weather starting to be nice and normally people become more scarce as that happens. Even though not many people played to begin with, I say leave it. You have no idea what tomorrow or the next day brings. A slight re-tool to the rules maybe? Like either stick with Bacon or change the rules & title and say Solo. But either way, I say keep it.

Oh and an email alert system that is hit or miss (no ones fault - it is what it is ) doesn't help to remind me - my crappy old brain sometimes.
