| Hi Guys - I have had a few guys here at TIG that have written expressing there concern about our safety after the devastating tornado that hit Moore , Ok (in the Oklahoma City area) . I sincerely appreciate your thoughts and it means alot to my wife and I - Thank You I wanted to make sure everyone knows that were okay . We live in Enid , which is about 85 miles north of the Ok. City area . Most of the bad tornado outbreak was arround OKC and to the SW of there . The tornado was classified as a F4 and was about a mile wide . It was on the ground for 40 minutes and cut a 10 mile + path through a heavily populated area . The devestation is horrible to see images of - schools and hospitals were even destroyed . The death toll is at 24 (9 of which were children) and is expected to increase . I know there is at least 1 more member here at TIG (Ryan , TishomingoSith) that lives in Oklahoma . I don't believe Ryan lives in the tornado struck area either so I am hoping he is okay too . We did get some much needed rain in Enid and some pretty strong 70 mph wind gusts but nothing major . A few large tree branches blown out of trees in our neighborhood was the worst we saw . We really appreciate everyone thinking of us and our thoughts are with those that were in the devastated area The way the weather is here in Oklahoma you never know when you could get blown away ... Thanks guys - james |

| Glad to hear you and your family are ok. Hopefully we hear from Ryan as well. My thoughts are with the families in the devastated area's. There was a F3 Tornado rip through the Goderich, Ontario area in 2011. It was only about 35 km from my mothers farm. The place will never be the same. |

| James I am glad to hear you guys are ok. I saw you posting late last night and just assumed it missed you guys but I should have asked. It missed all of my folks too as they are in the Ada and Mcallister area. Truly a sad event with the loss of so many. We just the week prior had tornadoes confirmed here in Texas at granbury and cleburne. It landed on the ground just a mile away from my house according to some local storm chasers, but I haven't seen any damage in the immediate area just on the news where some of the hardest hit areas where shown. |

| Really glad to hear you guys are ok, our weather in the UK is relatively mild in comparison to the extreme weather you guys experience in the U.S. A violent tornado like that and the devastation it leaves behind is pretty hard to comprehend for a small little west coast island dweller like me. My thoughts are with you guys and the those worst affected in OK.C. Hope we hear from Ryan soon. |

| Glad you're safe and sound mate. On a less serious note. I would hate for your home to get hit. I can only imagine the shock of people finding that creepy worm eating baby you have on your front porch in the rubble. |

The rescue workers would be pissed at me Thank you to everyone for all your kind words and concern - just one of the many reasons that TIG is such a great place to be here is a link to CNN that has lots of info , tornado footage and overviews of the destruction if anyone would like to have a better idea of how bad the storm really was : http://www.cnn.com/2013/05/20/us/oklahoma-tornado-developments |

Has anyone heard from Ryan yet? were still fine Oklahoma is right in the middle of "Tornado Alley" - this time of year Tornados are a pretty regular occurance in our area . The weather conditions are a perfect breeding ground for tornados ... |
