| How the hell do they put the eyes on the back of Lukes head?? And the figures without eye paint always look creepy. Collecting errors figures would be a neat side collection. All 92 with screwups. Hmmmmmm. |

| So I got another R5-D4 with red rectangle & this one is a lot different then the one I already had. Note the differences in the sticker & the chrome under the head. I also want to add the "new" is on the left, & it was found inside the US. Part of me wonders if this is like the OJ Luke, one version is found in the US & the other Australia (?). LMK what ya think! | Well the sticker may be faded, but they are still clearly different. Also the chrome under his neck is 2 different shades. One is shiny & the other is matte. |

| Other than the shade differences in the gray I really dont see any other difference on the sticker so that is maybe fading? Maybe low on ink or something? I know sometimes if my ink cartridge on the printer here gets close to low it can come out not as thick and that could be soemthing here. As for the difference in the chromed area I dont know what can cause the shine to not come through as much as the other. |

Sticker...FADED??? Chrome...??? The sticker doesn't look faded as the orange/red & blue is strong on both. It would appear the main difference is in the shade of grey used, like the difference between solid dome & sensorscope R2 stickers. Not always easy to tell from photo's, but the duller chrome on the right hand figure looks like a different paint may have been used. Edit: I've just seen trappedtexans post. Unless we get to see other examples, I guess we can't be certain whether the lighter grey was a product of low ink levels or intentional.

Yeah, that's what I thought possibly too. The figure wasn't in great condition so I didn't buy it anyway. I've never seen a Tri-logo Boba though with double leg scar. How many figures does there have to be to make it less likely a custom job and more likely a variant lol? |

| A few random bits I've picked up over the years. Firstly: a couple of, or at least in my opinion, actual factory errors missing paint. 1. Boba Fett with unpainted hip pouch 2. Luke Bespin with unpainted buckle 3. Imperila Dignitary with unpainted hand Next, A scarred up Leia to go with Darth's black eyed Luke, basically a very well placed 'hair' spray ap mistake, not really an error as such. Any opinions on these, I've seen several pop up for sale in the past, but never really identified as error's. basically DSC's with half or lack of emblems. I appreciate that the one without an emblem could have easily had it removed (purpose of which would seem odd) but the one without the red strip definately left the factory this way. A Luke Bespin which I would probably call a poor shot, with no leg markings of any kind. Finally, a Luke Bespin short shot, the left hand is not fully formed, but still painted (so not fake). The lightsaber I have for him is also a short shot, missing half the hilt. I've seen a few figures posted here with one short leg, I've noticed this numerous times with Bespin Luke over the years, I have several like this in my collection, my childhood one wouldn't stand because one leg was shorter than the other. To me though this is not really a short shot, as the leg is fully intact. Could this be a result of being removed from the mold to quickly while still hot and possibly shrinking? |

| ♥ the Imp Dig with the purple glove.
I've got a Tri-boba with one black pouch and one brown pouch, which I prefer to yours, because it shows someone actually 'thought' to paint one pouch one colour, and the other a different one, whilst yours someone just 'forgot' lol
Nice stuff |

| I just wondered if anyone knew anything about Fetts with part-painted wrist darts. Other people must own them surely? Are they indicative of anything in particular or are they just a factory error that can be common across the board regardless of COO? How many times have people seen these Fetts? Hands up...(Ignore the card this figure is mounted on, its remount so doesn't say anything about the figure inside!) |

That's why the title of the post says Part-painted dart, as does the first line of the post The full dart is not painted on these Fett's, only the middle portion is (the tip and tail are unpainted). I've seen 2 of these in person so far, have you come across any on your adventures? |
