| Hello! We have seen a growing interest in customizing vintage figures here on TIG lately. Members are sharing their newest customs, exchanging tips, and trading figures. There is also interest in other areas of creativity, such as building dioramas, and photography. The TIG team would therefore like to test the idea of supporting all this creativity by making a dedicated section on the main page. A section devoted to customs, dioramas and photography. Custom Astromech Droids made by Ourchickensack. Picture: Psybertech.
- Would you, or would you not like see such a section? (please let us know by filling in the poll)
- What subsections would you like to see? (for instance tips & tricks, building dioramas, photographing, trading/selling customs ,etc.)
- An idea for an original name (for instance Cantina Creativa, Custom Clan, …)
- Other ideas, remarks, questions
Just for the record: We would like to emphasize that we do not endorse destroying mint figures for the sake of customzing. But we don´t see anything wrong in giving Kenner beater figures a second life. No harm is being done to the hobby that way. if you see that differently, please share your thoughts with us as well. We will look forward to your input. TIG Team |

| Just trying to think of names  So far, only this : The Power Of The Fans? Just a play on POTF and the obvious fan built thing. Not actually that big of a 'fan' of to be honest The Enthuisiast Stirke Back? I'm actually quite fond of something simple like: End of the Line or: After the Force |

| Good idea Marco I love the idea. For sub sections we could have ideas like you said already as well as things like -Painting, Decals & Weathering Tutorials -A Reference Library -Plstic/Resin model area like cantina_patron mentioned for those of us who do them or folks who would like to start. As for a name there have been lots of good ones mentioned so far |

| I really like this idea, although I don't do much customising myself. I really appreciate the time and skill required to produce these cool figures and models, and i love looking at everyone's latest creations How about "The Imperial Gunnery's Canon of Customised Collectibles" hmmm maybe a bit long winded "TIG's CoCC" ....... erm, nah maybe not |

| Great idea, i would love to see subsections for figures, vehicles, dioramas and model builders. some sticky threads for useful tutorials and reference pics, and a place to swap parts and handywork. A section devoted to 2-dimensional custom art, pics, paintings and custom packaging. Star Wars fans have been creative for a long time now so maybe a thread about customizing back in the day for example early diorama competitions from magazines, childhood customs or even 70's and 80's cosplay pics Maybe i'm just getting a bit overexited so i'll just shoot some names -homegrown galaxy -FANtasy galaxy -the droid factory -Kitbash corner -blue Peter Mayhew -TIG arts & crafts -sticky fingers ( or sticky everything depending on your level of skills ) |

| I was thinking of a couple more names and couldn't help but think that two of our most prolific customisers should or could be honoured in the names, James and Clint I was thinking Chop Top Chickenshack or Chop Shop Chickenshack (the Chop 'Top' is a horror homage to Chainsaw massacre and our favourite horror fiend James ) & Clint's Cutting Corner You get the idea, any thoughts? |
