enjoyed the new video. I too fell into the trap of applying those 'gaping wound' decals and throwing out the box & insert Now I've got to search for that little book too

Besides.....Id really like to know which "damages" were ever released. Im really not good with ships, but I know of:
White Xwing: - electronic, no battle damaged stickers - no electronic, no battle damaged stickers - no electronic, battle damaged stickers
Grey: - electronic, battle damaged stickers - no electronic (but heck button, no nose light) Palitoy/Bilogo issue, battle damaged stickers
Silver: - Glasslite, no electronic, different stickers
So my question would be if the white one with electronic also was ever released with battle damaged stickers?????

I haven't checked it yet, but maybe Paul's X-Wing entry in the POTB thread can help here...(click below)
lol it does actually, #6 Kenner version: "Toy Details: Here we see the first major change in the actual Kenner produced vehicle design - the X-Wing Fighter now switches from a white colour to grey with black front engine ports. The cockpit canopy becomes tinted and a 'battle damaged' decal sheet is included. The vehicle remains electronic."
meaning that no, the white electronics were not released with bd stickers. Bd features coincided with the grey release (in the US).
Least ways I haven't seen one yet
Bloody X-Wings and all their variants

But why were the white ones without electronic later paired with the bd stickers???

Was that a Europe-only version?

Altough i liked the interview style of this vid, for me it can't compete with your other toy review video's. I loved your previous star wars ones and also the Grayskull, Thundercats, Turtles, Transformers....
Sorry, great video, but not as good as your previous ones imo (ducks aswell ) ... no, i hope you can take a litlle honest feedback.

I understand your viewpoint. We try to do different things to give people something new to see each time. We come up with concepts that might fit the mood or subject in a unique way so our viewers aren't seeing the same old stuff with each posting. The hope is that our viewers will enjoy watching new videos because they know it will be a new format or have a twist, something unexpected. So, I guess the motto is, "If you don't like the latest RetroBlasting video, don't worry because the next one will be totally different."
That said, the next Star Wars video - Blaster Masters - has been scripted and it is not an interview style, because it has a different mood. Some of our videos might use this interview style in the future when appropriate. It's whatever we think fits best. For the X-Wing piece, we came at it from the idea of looking back on a tragedy rather than a "review" piece. So we went with a kind of "Dateline" special satire as Gen Xers recount the crime against kids that were the damage decals.
