So I'm anxiously awaiting for an auction to end on something I've been chasing for a while.
Nov 3rd 1948 Chicago Tribune (newspaper) incorrectly declared the winner of the Presidential election. Suffice to say they had to pull back the papers but some made it out to world and are arguably one of the rarest papers .
So I hope I can win and get one.
Anything outside SW that you're hunting?

as a kid in Singapore this was my ultimate sports car a Renault 5 turbo But realistically price wise I'd like a Saab 96 . It was Dad's favourite rally car he was quite competitive throughout SE Asia as a privateer before I was born. He had a dozen or so. Mum had one as a street car. I remember clearly as a kid the crazy noise the 2 stroke motor made & the weird dimpled vinyl seats which left funny marks on your legs on hot days

I have two one I have one I am looking for still the one I have is a Apollo 13 silver coin from the franklin mint it is made with metal that was flown on the mission around the moon and back.
The second item I am looking for is a Canadian military C1A1 bayonet for the old FN rifle the same type I used when I served it seems to be a rather tough thing to find there are Australian and British ones that I have seen but the Canadian one is a bit different I still have had no luck in finding one.

One thing I'm really looking for is a master cel of Spikor from the HeMan cartoon. It's proving to be a pretty tough thing to track down. I'm also looking to grab a Batman master cel, preferably of Two Face. Those are my two biggest grails outside of SW collecting that I'm after. Unless someone wants to sell me a Ferrari for super cheap!

Nice to see that you have passions other than toys actually. I am more boring: I have been looking for a MIB Action Man Talking Commander (12" made by Palitoy in the 70ies) to complete my Vintage Action Man/Gi Joe boxed dolls collection. Plenty of reproduction out there but no original. Last time I saw one on Ebay was 2 years ago...and price rocketed (but well nothing compared to SW in general).

I would love to add a Sandy Koufax signed Dodgers jersey to my sports autograph collection.
But he rarely signs, and I don't have a spare $1,000.00-$2,000.00 just sitting around.

I also collect rare US coins. Currently, one of my most valuable is the 1909 S Indian Head Penny in EX-45.
I'm shopping for a 1909 S VDB Lincoln Penny and a 1922 Plain Lincoln Penny.

I'd have to say an issue of Incredible Hulk #1.
Good luck on the paper Johnno. I know you've been looking for that for a long time.

I acquired my non-Star Wars grail a few years ago, it's a original green letter Dawn of the Dead movie poster. It's funny as my Star Wars collecting has greatly influenced how I collect Dawn of the Dead posters. As I am now trying to get one of every Dawn of the Dead poster made. It's pretty cool seeing all the different posters made from all over the world for this one movie. I think as it stands I am down to missing 5 or 6 posters to finish my run. With that said, maybe my grail should be a dozen or so poster frames? Hmmmm.....

Currently my grail is probably an authentic Neil Armstrong signed photo, preferably the one right after the moon walk. Been looking for a while and haven't seen that image come up. I did lose out on a personalized "To Mike" photo a few months ago. I only need Armstrong, Alan Shepard on the Moon and Harrison Schmitt to complete my moonwalkers autograph collection. After that I have a few wants but not what I would consider grails.

I shouldn't be reading this topic, i might get some ideas
Mine is very different; an in-house heated pond or really MASSIVE tank for my cichlids (fish). Current main setup is 2,35m*.65*.65 (and several side tanks) and i'd like ~10 times this amount of water (10K).
Will never happen though. My power-bill is already going through the roof, besides from the investment in the equipment. Prices for basic things like electricity and water / gas are no joke either these days.
current tank with old setting.

The Vincent black shadow is a very nice bike I would love one of them, My dad used to have one of these but it was long before I was born, he also had the Norton Commando but he put that under the front of a bus and wrote it of and very nearly himself along with it. I miss not having a motorbike I might try and find myself one for next summer.
