Picked up these two French Amora les verres des moutarde (mustard glasses) to complete the set of four I already had the first two which were used by my wife's family back in the 80s, so I'm pleased to complete the set now.
Complete set of four:
The glasses were originally filled with Dijon mustard, then once finished would be used as drinking glasses. This tradition continues today with Amora still producing mustard glasses. In 1983 German company Hengstenberg produced 5 similar mustard glasses. Some modern Amora versions below.
and to complete this cool little set I also managed to find the original advert showing two of the glasses with a promotion to win SW Atari video game stuff and a great little scene showing SW toys

Nice additions, Paul.
Great that half of the set of mustard glasses were used in your wife's family once. That gives them a special touch, I can imagine.
Cool advert: but which saddist puts poor old Yoda in the deep freezing Hoth planes, wearing nothing else than a cape?
Not Cool
ATARI!!!!!!

Cheers Krille, the pictures on the other sides of the glasses are exactly the same as the front. The only other pic from another angle I have atm shows the Stormie a little closer and the coo stamp.
Marco... I agree about Yoda suffering from the Hoth cold. He needs this

Sorry if I have missed some previous posts here; A load of nice purchases you have made there guys! My favorite is probably the Glasslite Leia with the grey jawa blaster...
Those are my latest purchases. Though I don't have a real interest in carded and bagged stuff, I had the opportunity to buy these 2 figures on Palitoy cards, one with a Clipper offer on it and the Leia on a KENNER/GENERAL MILLS baggy;
Not sure how long I will keep these :scratch: I just keep them aside for future trades.
